EASTER

We have the Holy Week, which is abundant in traditions and symbols.

On Maundy Thursday we commemorate establishing the sacraments of Eucharist and Priesthood.

 On Holy Friday we commemorate the Carrying of the Cross and the Crucifixion and Death of our Lord Jesus Christ. The congregation adore the Blessed Sacrament at the Tomb of Lord Jesus.

On Holy Saturday (Easter Eve) the food is blessed and in the evening there is blessing of fire and water and the congregation participate in the Holy Mass. At that special time we sing Alleluia.

At the dawn of Easter Sunday there is the Resurrection Mass and we rejoice from the Resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ which gives us  hope for our eternal life.

This year we are celebrating Easter in a different way because of the pandemic disease which experienced the whole world. We have more time for contemplation and reflection on what is really important in life.
